 Really great phone! September 27, 2008
I loved these phones! For three years, I've had no problems with them. Easy to use, cute, and more than enough power. Love them!
They've worked all over my 2800 sq ft house, even out in my yard, so range is obviously not a problem.
The previous reviewer said that once you put it on "speakerphone" you can't take it off... that's not true, you just have to push the "talk" button again to put it back to normal.
Great phones, great deal.

Love this phone..no problems speaking or hearing others; and each handset can have its own phonebook of saved numbers (you can import numbers from one to the other if you like). Also, it doesn't have the bulkiness of an answering machine, which I don't need. I carry it from the 2nd floor to the 1st or 3rd floor in my home without any loss of calls or static. And I live across the street from a huge hi-tech high school, within 3 blocks of 2 teaching hospitals and 2 medical schools, the police academy, and the 911 emergency center, and more. If it performs in this area, it should perform anywhere.
The only reason I gave it only 4 stars is because: (1)- once you put it on speaker, you can't turn it back to regular, and (2)- you can only add 1 extra handset. I could have used another.

These phones are awful. Outside of pretty LCD displays and fun ring tones, the general purpose of a phone is for people to hear you and you to hear people. I constantly have people telling me that they can't hear me and to speak up (even when I am clearly and loudy speaking directly into the phone). Your voice is muffled and often VERY VERY quite to the person on the other end of the line. There is often an echo that I do not get on the other phone in my house. There have been times that I have had to use my cell phone at home as I am not being heard on the Panasonic phone. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!
